Inspired by the greats of rock n' roll, Lorenzo started singing and playing drums and guitar at a young age in a little town on the outskirts of Torino, Italy. In 2018 Lorenzo moved to New York City to pursue university. He won the grand prize in the 2019 edition of the NYU UltraViolet talent show, and given the positive reception, he recorded his first album in Brooklyn with a live band.
